Kris Comstock Cox, 63 of Lexington passed away Wednesday January 22, 2020 at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago with her family by her side.

Kris was born December 20, 1956 to Harry and Gert (Swearingen) Comstock in Lincoln, IL. She married Brian Cox November 10, 1979 in Bloomington, IL. He survives.

She is also survived by her daughters Amy (Justin) Anderson, Jen (Keaten) Price; her fur babies Reagen, Josie, Kit Kat; her aunt Winnie Hays; and many cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents. She worked at State Farm for 42 years in Creative Services. Kris was a very outgoing person. She loved talking to pretty much anyone and loved entertaining. She had a passion for cooking and shopping. Also had an affection for decorating her house, especially during Christmas time! Her fur babies were her life, she loved her friends and family dearly. She will be deeply missed.

A celebration of life will be held Sunday February 2, 2020 12:00 p.m.- 3:00 p.m. at the Moose Lodge, Bloomington.
